Rubber Pipes are special devices made from rubber for constructing pipings. Together with bends, reducers, T-pieces they form a system. Complete pipings in chemical plants, processing of minerals
and ores, FGDs of power stations and seawater desalination plants, to name only some of the fields of application, are constructed with it.
In contrast to hoses rubber pipes are not flexible, that is the basic difference between them. This is the precondition for the use of normal traces, designed originally for steel piping, for rubber
pipe installations without additional supportings, which are necessary for hoses.
Rubber pipes act as compensators. The pipe itself compensates with its particular stiffening inlay temparature-dependent movements, it does not show elongation or shrinkage during temperature changes.
This is a major advantage comparing with pipes made from plastics, because there is no need for compensators and plate bearings in construction of rubber piping.
The bore of rubber pipes is up to largest diameters a seamless body of rubber, formed to seals at the pipes ends. Premature corrosion, which may occur in rubber-lined steel pipes, does not happen
with rubber pipes.
